When a building is planned, everything that is needed to support the structure is taken into account. All of the factors are measured many times during the construction process to ensure the foundation is sound. Changes are made in the plans when and if the construction process encounters any differences in the factors used determine the what will make for a foundation strong enough to support the building. Over 200 years ago we began building a structure for the people, by the people and it is this structure that has gotten us this far. Along the way little by little the building process got changed and the no one really noticed. After all the building process was still strong. I am not saying the process didn’t have its set backs, slow downs and back to the drawing board periods. It was only that , during those times, we did not return the initial idea that got the building started in the first place. The “For the people, By the people”  concept began being weaken by standing in the very shadow of the structure. The foundation concepts are not as clear when view in the shadows. It took the light of day to birth the ideas and the light of day to maintain it. There are far to many small detail that can be look over if not viewed in the brightest of conditions. All of the ill with the worlds were created in the shadows, outside of the view of those that would be effected the most by the creation. We must build in the light if we are to survive what is ahead. The winds of change are upon us and we must do our part to not only open our eyes, but be proactive. First in our own life to shore up our foundation to be a strong component for the rebuilding of the that designed to work for us all. Then to our neighbors, neighborhoods, cities, states, country to see the change in the world.

If recent event taught us anything, it showed the strength we still have and the strength we must use as we move forward. Staying focused  and building on this strength is what it is going to take to get us to tomorrow. The things we do now and everyday, are the determining factors in our growth. We must build on our successes not our failure. Remembering that there are no true failures, for failures only point the way to our success, so how can we called them failures. Stay focused on what we have to build without worrying about what it is going to look like and how it is going to work. Have faith in the process these changes are bringing into our experience. We have overcome tough times before and we will again. We only have to remember, we are only building on the successes that came about from the “For the people , By the people” mindset. Any structure built on that, as its true foundation, will stand not only the test of time, but any and all that would attempt to undermine it from inside or out.

It is time to rebuild our foundation, but the debris from the toppled structure must be cleared away before anything new can be built. The clearing process does mean we are throwing away the materials, but sorting through it all to reclaim all that can still be used in our rebuilding process. Some will be used as they are and other will have to totally taken apart to be reformed as components consistent with the new plans. There are no unimportant parts, just things that were assemble in a way to be counter-productive to health of the previous system. No need to look back and ask who, what when or how. These are not questions that help moving forward, for the answers only distract from the task at hand. A new journey is upon us, for we live in exciting time with no place for fear. I am not saying you might not feel  fear, I am only saying don’t give into it. Let that energy remind you why to stay focus on what is, so the work you must do, helps the process continue. We are all apart of something bigger that ourselves, but it could not exist without us. And since that are no unimportant part, we have to be about the business of staying focused on our part of the project knowing that it (we) matters. Given the process before us, know that we are apart of something vital, even if we don’t know how we fit, where we fit, what our part does or even what the finished project in going to look like. These thing are not as important as the process that gets us there. For it is the journey that brings us our joys, happiness and rewards in this life not our destination. We are like that ship captain that can’t see his destination for 99% of his journey. He knows that doing certain things based on the dynamic right in front of him will get his to their destination. Proceeding without doubt is the best way to create the building experience and results that will stand the test on time. It time for us to all become the captains of our lives and proceed with the tasks, we know in our hearts, will make a difference in the world. In the days ahead, being the difference we want to see in the world, will have a greater impact than it has in a long time.
